Here is an image to represent a portion of the first section. What is being represented here? How do the different aspects of the image tell the story?
I really like how you used the fist to separate Sal and Miranda, as was portrayed in the book. I think the images used play a large role in this book, like Miranda and Sal walking home everyday, since that is probably how they formed such a close bond. If thinking about the 20,000 $ Pyramid show in the same way, it has also probably brought Miranda and her mom together in a new way than before.
I loved the part about the bathroom tile and seeing the different shapes and I'm so glad you incorporated this, because I feel that it may symbolize something larger in the book. Possibly, seeing something out of nothing or creating meaning from fragments...I'm not sure yet, but I'll continue to think about it.
